Why the 2027 dates are provisional
The Philippines confirms each year's holidays through a presidential proclamation, usually issued the year before. Until the 2027 proclamation is published, the dates here are projected: fixed-date holidays from the standard list, the movable Holy Week from the ecclesiastical calendar, and Eid'l Fitr and Eid'l Adha from the Islamic lunar calendar.
Regular holidays (12) are paid even if unworked; special (non-working) days (8) follow a "no work, no pay" default with a 30% premium for work. The government may also add extra special non-working days closer to the time.
